About Federal University Of Technology Minna (FUTMINNA)
The Federal University of Technology Minna which is also known as FUTMINNA is among the few universities of technology owned by the federal government of Nigeria.
FUTMINNA was established in the year 1982 to broaden the knowledge of its students on the areas of technology and products after which candidates are expected to aide in the technological growth and advancement in the country as well as become useful in society.
Federal University of Technology Minna; as the name implies is situated at Minna the capital city of Niger state in the North Central part of the country, the university was approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC) to offer various categories of academic programs which include Pre-degree, Undergraduate Studies, and Postgraduate Studies.

FUTMINNA Admission is NUC based which requires that aspirants should possess O’level WAEC/NECO/GCE or equivalent certification with at least five (5) credits of which English Language and Mathematics must be inclusive with three other subjects relevant to candidate’s desired field of study in FUTMINNA.
It stated that candidates must choose the Federal University of Technology Minna as a first choice institution in the current year JAMB UTME and also ensure that his/her score in the UTME exam is at least up to the FUTMINNA JAMB Cut Off Mark.
The final stage of admission in the university is the Post UTME Screening of which candidate’s score is expected to reach the specified cut off point for the chosen course/department at FUTMINNA although candidates with higher scores are considered first.
