Requirements
Applicants must possess the minimum qualifications and experiences as stated by the National Universities Commission (NUC) for each academic position applied for, for example; NUC stated that every Lecturer II must possess Ph.D. and 3 years teaching experience.
For all academic position, applicants must possess IT Skills.
NON-ACADEMIC POSITIONS
DIRECTOR OF ADMISSIONS
This role holder will report to the Vice-Chancellor on the daily administration of the Admissions Office, He/she will attend to all student admission issues in the University.
The Director is expected to possess good leadership and management skills, personal integrity at a high level, and must ensure accomplishments of the University admission processes goals, with particular regard to publicity as well as the JAMB Central Admission Processing System.
Requirements
- Applicant must possess a minimum of Second Class Honors (Lower Division) from a recognized University.
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in a University or other related Institution of higher learning required.
- The applicant must present evidence of previous performance in regards to admission processing in a tertiary institution.
- The applicant must be physically and mentally fit.
- It is expected that the applicant must have held the position of Deputy Director or its equivalent in a University or other tertiary institution.
- A proven record of leadership or administrative qualities is required.
SECRETARIES
This position is for Secretaries who have experience in University procedures and document management.
Requirements
- Applicant must possess at least HND or BSC certification in Secretarial Administration/Studies.
- Good oral and written communication skills is a must
- At least five years’ experience in a University environment is expected.
- Accuracy and pays attention to details.
- Able to work under pressure with calmness.
- Applicants must have Computer and IT skills, preferably with relevant certificates.
- Good organizational and time management skills are required.
- Applicants must possess a high level of discretion and initiative.
