Akwa Ibom State Civil Service Commission Mass Recruitment

The Akwa Ibom State Civil Service Commission Mass Recruitment has been announced for multiple vacant positions which are listed below.

This was made known through a statement by the Permanent Secretary, Akwa Ibom State Civil Service Commission, Lady Rose N. Bassey.

She made known that the recruitment is focused on Health and a few other Cadres and was opened for Akwa-Ibom State indigenes.

Medical Consultant (Grade Level 15)

Applicant must possess MBBS/MBBCH Certification or its equivalent and be obtained from an approved Medical school.
Must be a member of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.
Should be a member of the West African Postgraduate Medical College or equivalent in the relevant specialty from a recognized Institution.
Applicant’s qualifications must be registerable with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.

Medical/Dental Officer (Grade Level 12)

The applicant should have MBBS certificate obtained from a recognized University.
He/She must present evidence of provisional registration with MDCN.

Pharmacist (Grade Level 10)

Must possess a B.Pharm certification obtained from a recognized University.
Evidence of provisional registration is required.

Pharmacy Technician (Grade Level 07)

The applicant must have completed the prescribed three years training programme at the School of Health Technology for Technician cadre.

Medical Laboratory Scientist (Grade Level 10)

S/he must have a B.Sc certification in Medical Laboratory Science from approved University.
Must be a registered member of MLCN.

Medical Laboratory Technician (Grade Level 07)

The applicant must have completed the prescribed three years training programme at the School of Medical Laboratory Technology for Technician cadre.
Must be a registered member.

Radiographer (Grade Level 10)

B.sc certification in Radiography.
Must be a registered member of the Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria.

X-ray Technician (Grade Level 07)

Must have completed a three-year training programme in an approved health institution.

Biomedical Engineer (Grade Level 09)

Must possess a degree certification in Biomedical engineering obtained from a recognized Institution.

Staff Nurse (Grade Level 07)

She/he must possess NRN.
Must be a registered member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).

Staff Nurse/Midwife (Grade Level 08)

Must possess NRN and NRM.
Must be a registered member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).

Nursing Officer (Grade Level 08)

Applicant must have a nursing degree certificate.
Must be a registered member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).

Health Education Officer (Grade Level 08)

Applicant must possess a Degree certification in health education, Physiology, or health science and must be obtained from a recognized University.

Community Health Technician (Grade Level 07)

Candidate must have completed the prescribed three years training programme in an approved health institution.
Candidate must be a registered member of the National Council of Community Health Practice Board of Nigeria.

Medical Record Officer (Grade Level 08)

Must possess an HND certification in Health Record Administration or Health Information Management.
Must be a registered member of the Health Records Registration Board of Nigeria with evidence.

Medical Record Technician (Grade Level 07)

Candidate must have completed the prescribed three years training programme in an approved health institution.
Must be a registered member of the Health Records Registration Board of Nigeria.

Inspector of Taxes II (Grade Level 08)

Candidate should have a bachelor’s degree certification in either accounting, business management, banking and finance, business administration or economics, and must be acquired from an approved institution.

Higher Technical Officer (Mechanical) Grade Level 08

Must have acquired an HND certification in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized Institution.

Higher Technical Officer (Electrical) Grade Level 08

Candidate must have acquired an HND certification in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institution.

Petroleum Engineer II (Grade Level 08)

B.Eng certification in Petroleum engineering from an approved institution.

Civil Engineer II (Grade Level 08)

B.Eng certification in Civil engineering from an approved institution.

Senior State Counsel (Grade Level 10)

Applicant must be a practicing barrister and solicitor in Nigeria and must be legally qualified.

Land Officer II (Grade Level 08)

Should be in possession with a degree certificate in Estate Management/Land Economy obtained from a recognized Institution.

Information Officer II (Grade Level 08)

Certified bachelor’s degree holder in either Arts, Journalism, or Social Science acquired from a recognized University.

Information Officer I (Grade Level 09)

Certified Master’s degree holder in either Arts, Journalism, or Social Science acquired from a recognized University.

Accountant II (Grade Level 08)

Holders of a Bachelorâ€™s degree in Accounting from a recognized University.

Agricultural Officer II (Grade Level 08)

Applicants should hold bachelor’s degrees in either Agricultural Science/Agricultural Economics/Crop Science/Horticulture/Crop Production from approved institutions.

Agricultural Officer I (Grade Level 09)

Applicants should hold master’s degrees in either Agricultural Science/Agricultural Economics/Crop Science/Horticulture/Crop Production from approved institutions.

Programme Analyst II (Grade Level 08)

Candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in Computer science which must have been obtained from a recognized University to be eligible for theÂ Akwa Ibom State Civil Service Commission Mass Recruitment.

Geologist I (Grade Level 09)

Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in either Geology/Mining/Exploratory Geology obtained from a recognized Institution.

Statistician II (Grade Level 08)

Must be a holder of Bachelorâ€™s degree certificate in Statistics obtained through a recognized University.

Education Officer II (Grade Level 08)

Bachelorâ€™s degree holder in education from an approved institution is required for theÂ Akwa Ibom State Civil Service Commission Mass Recruitment.

Fisheries Officer II (Grade Level 08)

Applicant must have a bachelor’s degree certification in either Zoology/Fisheries/Biology/Agriculture/Agricultural Biochemistry from an approved institution.

Admin Officer II (Grade Level 08)

Should possess a Bachelor’s degree certification in any discipline under Social Sciences and Humanity acquired from a recognized Institution.

Commercial Officer II (Grade Level 08)

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree certification in either Economics/Business Administration/Commerce/Marketing from a recognized Institution.

Forest Officer II (Grade Level 08)

Possesses a Bachelor’s degree certification in either Forestry/Agriculture/Agronomy/Plant Zoology/Botany/Biology/Forest Resources Management obtained from an approved institution.

Higher Data Processing Officer (Grade Level 08)

Applicant must have HND in either Computer Science or Data Processing acquired from a recognized Institution.

Scientific Officer II (Grade Level 08)

Bachelorâ€™s degree certification in either discipline in Natural or Applied Sciences from a recognized Institution.

Higher Executive Officer (Account) Grade Level 08

Requires HND certification in Accounting from a recognized Institution.

Environmental Management Officer II (Grade Level 08)

Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Management or Technology from a recognized Institution.

HEO (GD) Grade Level 08

HND certified in either Business Administration/Public Administration acquired in a recognized Institution.

Planning Officer II (Grade Level 08)

Bachelor’s degree certified in either Economics (preferably with statistics)/Econometrics/Development Planning obtained from a recognized Institution.

Registrar of Co-operative II (Grade Level 08)

Certified Bachelor’s degree holder in either Arts/Economics/Agriculture/Law/Business Administration/Accountancy from an approved institution.
