TECHNICIAN
Jobs and Responsibilities
- The technician will be responsible for the repairing and servicing of machines in the plants to ensure continuous operations.
- Fabricating the needed parts for repair work.
- Will be responsible for carrying out analysis of all automation systems and troubleshoot problems to aid effective maintenance.
- Cleaning of the work environment to ensure hygienic condition.
- Erecting and installing of machines.
Carrying out of planned preventive maintenance with reference to job orders.
Requirements
- Applicant must possess O’ level/NABTEB/Trade Test Certification.
- Applicant should have hands-on experience in instrumentation.
- Must possess a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
ELECTRICIAN
Jobs and Responsibilities
- Will be responsible for the Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems in the Plant.
- Carrying out of planned maintenance on the Process, Silo and Packing machines.
- Ensure electrical systems are running efficiently in a safe mode.
- “The position holder will be responsible for maintaining a proper record and comprehensive report of breakdown, spare part used, disconnected motors and time taken for job completion.”
Requirements
- Applicant must have an O’ level/NABTEB Certificate.
- Must possess ND in Electrical Engineering.
- 2 years of relevant experience required.
- Applicant should have Have good troubleshooting skills.
FITTER
Jobs and Responsibilities
- The position holder will be responsible for the carrying out analysis of automation systems and troubleshoot.
- Repairing of faults or damages on the Process, Silo and Packing machines.
- Setting up and adjusting metalworking machines and equipment.
- Will be responsible for carrying out preventive maintenance and other maintenance activities on machines.
- Operating machines to produce parts or tools by turning, milling, boring, shaping, slotting, planning, grinding or drilling metal stock or components.
- Dismantling of faulty tools and assemblies and repairing or replacing defective parts.
Requirements
- Must possess O’ level/NABTEB Certification.
- Must possess ND certification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Should have good troubleshooting skills.
- 2 years relevant experience required.
GOLDEN SUGAR INTERNSHIP PROGRAM (GSIP)
Requirements
- Applicant must be a 400-level Mechanical or Electrical/Electronics Engineering student.
- Applicant possess CGPA of 3.5 or higher (or its equivalent).
