This is to inform the general public that the application is opened for the Unilorin admission into the 2020 session of the Sandwich contact postgraduate, undergraduate, and sub-degree programmes.  Interested candidates are required to possess some specified qualifications which vary on the programme he or she is aspiring for. The required qualifications and every other information needed are stated below.

Requirements for Bachelor Degree Programmes

• One or Two credits in Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) or other relevant teaching subjects.
• An applicant must possess at least five O’Level credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, and three other relevant subjects.
• 0’Level Passes in NABTEB/ JUPEB/GCE/ IJMB or its equivalent;
• ND/OND is also accepted for selected courses: Arabic, Christian Studies, History, Human Kinetics, Health Education, Islamic Studies, Computer Science Education, Educational Technology, and Technology Education. In addition.

Requirements for the Postgraduate Diploma Programmes

• Education (PGDE): A minimum of third class honors in the Bachelor’s degree from any recognized University or minimum of Upper Credit in Higher National Diploma (HND) from recognized Polytechnics or allied Institutions.
• Educational Technology (PGDET): A minimum of “Third Class Honors in Bachelor of Education Degree (B.Ed.; B. A. (Ed.); B.Sc. (Ed.); B. Tech (Ed.) from the University of Ilorin or an equivalent Degree recognized by the Senate of the University of Ilorin or A minimum of Third Class Honors in Bachelor’s Degree (B. A.; B.Sc.; B. Tech) and Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PDGE) recognized by the Senate of the University”.

Requirements for the Master of Education Degree Programmes

• Minimum of Third Class Honor degree in other disciplines (B.A., B.Sc., B. Tech., etc plus Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) obtained at Credit level from a recognized University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Educational Technology (with a minimum of 60% pass grade); acceptable for admission into M.Ed. Educational Technology programme only.
• Credit passes in five O’Level subjects in which Mathematics and English are compulsory and other optional three subjects with no more than two sittings.

Requirements for the Sub-Degree Diploma Programmes

• For Human Kinetics and Health Education: Credit passes in 5 O’Level SSCE/GCE/TCII/NABTEB subjects or equivalent, Mathematics and English Language are compulsory with three other subjects related to the aspiring course, with no more than two sittings.
• For Arabic Education: Credit passes in 5 0’level WASC/GCE/TCII/Higher Islamic Studies Certificate (HISC); SSCE subjects in which Arabic is compulsory with four other subjects related to the aspiring course.
• Diploma in the teaching of Arabic or Islamic Studies of Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
