About Federal University Dutse (FUD) And Courses Offered
Federal University Dutse (FUD) is one of the Universities in Nigeria established by the federal government in the year 2011 with its campus situated at Ibrahim Aliyu Way Bye-Pass, Dutse the capital city of Jigawa state located in the North-Western part of Nigeria.
FUD was established with the vision to educate men and women for competence and character through the combination of top-notch teaching as well as distinguished scholarship with exemplary leadership at every level.
The University offers both Undergraduate and Postgraduate programs in the areas of arts, sciences, social sciences, medical sciences, management sciences, agriculture, computing, and general studies. FUD promise to add more faculties and courses such as engineering, law, etc in years to come as it was recently established.

FUD Admission
The Federal University Dutse is based on the National University Commission (NUC) standards of which candidates must have obtained their SSCE WAEC/NECO or equivalent certificate with at least five credit passes in relevant subjects after which they are expected to apply for JAMB UTME and choose FUD as their most preferred University, sit for the JAMB UTME and obtain the JAMB Cut Off Mark.
Finally, candidates must sit for the FUD aptitude test/screening and obtain the FUD Post UTME cut off mark.
Direct entry candidates are expected to possess at least 8 points in IJMB and NCE or Lower Credit at the National Diploma level.
