The Abia State University is inviting applications from interested and eligible candidates for the 2021/2022 Absu JUPEB and Pre-Degree/ Remedial Programmes.
ABSU JUPEB Programme
The JUPEB Programme which will last for one year is organized for students who have acquired their 0’Level SSCE/WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB with a minimum of five (5) credit passes at not more than two sittings and are willing to further their education in the University without writing JAMB UTME examination as successful JUPEB candidates who made good grades after the one year programme will be eligible for JAMB Direct Entry Admission into 200 level in any of the below-listed courses in Abia State University.

ABSU Pre-Degree Programme
The Pre-Degree Programme is organized for students who have acquired their 0’Level SSCE/WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB with a minimum of five (5) credit passes at not more than two sittings and are willing to undergo one-year preparatory studies to subsequent admission into the desired Degree Programmes of Abia State University.
Unlike the JUPEB Programme, Pre-degree candidates are nurtured for JAMB UTME examination after which successful candidates who made ABSU their choice University in JAMB will have a privilege of concessional admission during ABSU 2020/2021 admission exercise.
ABSU Remedial Studies Programme
This Programme is organized for candidates who didn’t make their O’ Level qualifications and are willing to remedy same by re-sitting the appropriate O’ Level examinations conducted by WAEC/NECO/ NABTEB.
Available subjects for the ABSU Remedial Studies Programme are as follows:

Remedial studies candidates must have attempted SSCE/WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB and must present evidence of the subjects failed for which remedy is sought.
Furthermore, Remedial Studies candidates will as well be prepared for JAMB UTME Examination after which successful candidates who made ABSU their choice University in JAMB will have the privilege of concessional admission during the 2021/2022 admission exercise.

- Generate an invoice.
- With the generated invoice visit any of the below-listed designated Banks branches and pay the sum of Ten thousand naira (N10.000.00) only:

- Complete the JUPEB/Pre-Degree/Remedial Studies Application Forms.
- Observe and confirm your entry and submit.
- Print out a copy of your successful application Form as evidence.
Important Notice
- Any Candidate who successfully acquires JUPEB Certificate and lost interest with Abia State University has the privilege of applying for any of his/her choice-course in any other University in Nigeria through JAMB Direct Entry into the second year.
- Moreover, Candidates can secure admission outside the country with JUPEB Certificate.
- Candidates must undergo a qualifying/ screening test for admission into the ABSU JUPEB Programme.
- Centre of Study for the Absu Jupeb and Pre-Degree/ Remedial Programmes is at Abia State University, Uturu Campus.
- Online Application submission deadline is TUESDAY 2ND JULY, 2019.
