Requirements
Professors
- Applicants must be PhD holders or the equivalent in the relevant field.
- Must have at least 7 – 10 years of academic teaching experience.
- A substantial record of publications is required.
Senior Lecturer
- Applicants must be PhD holders or the equivalent in the relevant field.
- Must have at least 3 – 7 years of academic teaching experience.
- A track record of publications is required.
Lecturer I
- Applicants must be PhD holders or the equivalent in the relevant field.
- Must have at least 2 – 5 years of academic teaching experience.
- A record of publications is required.
Lecturer II
- Applicants must be PhD holders or the equivalent in the relevant field.
- A few publications are required.
Assistant Lecturer
- Applicants must be Master’s degree holders with requisite experience.
University Librarian
- Applicants should possess Masters in Library and Information Science (MLS) from a reputable institution with 10 – 12 years of experience.
- Must be a registered member of the appropriate professional body.
- Records of publication.
- Knowledge of library software is a must-have.
OR
- The applicant should be PhD holder in Library and Information Science from a reputable institution with 12 – 15 years cognate experience.
