As we all know that the anticipated Big Brother Naija season 6 (Shine Ya Eye) reality show has commenced on Saturday 24th July and will broadcast for 72 days starting with 22 housemates whose details will be mentioned here later.
The Big Brother Naija is broadcasting on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29 with most GOtv users still unable to view the channel on the aforementioned channel number.

First of all ensure that your GOtv subscription is active, (SEE HOW TO SUBSCRIBE YOUR GOTV YOURSELF) and other channels showing then follow any of the below steps to rescan your decoder:
STEP 1
- Press the ‘Menu/GOtv’ button on the remote controller.
- Select ‘Advance Options’ on the displayed options and press ‘OK’
- Scroll to ‘Installation’ and press ‘OK’
- Select ‘Automatic Scan’ and press ‘OK’
- Wait for the decoder to complete scanning.
- Press ‘Exit’ and proceed to channel 29.
- Happy viewing.
STEP 2
- Press and hold the power button on your GOtv decoder.
- Release the button immediately the decoder goes off.
- Wait for the decoder to restart and start scanning.
- Proceed to channel 29 after the scanning.
- Happy Viewing.
