Requirements

Graduate Assistant (CONUASS 01)

• Applicants must possess a bachelors’ degree in the relevant discipline with at least a second class upper division obtained from a recognized university.
• NYSC discharge/ exemption certificate is a must.

Assistant Lecturer (CONUASS 02)

• Applicants must possess Bachelors’ Degree as well as Masters’ Degree certification in the appropriate field from any reputable university.
• Applicants must present scholarly publications evidence in learned journals in University as well as apex research or training institutes.
• NYSC Discharge or Exemption certificate is a must.

Lecturer II (CONUASS 03)

• Applicants must possess at least Masters’ Degree certification in a relevant field from any reputable university, 3 years of teaching, research, as well as administrative experience as Assistant Lecturer in the university.
• PhD certification is an added advantage.
• Applicants must possess evidence for a minimum of 3 scholarly publications in Peer-reviewed learned journals in University and apex research/training institutes OR participation in 2 professional/ research projects.
• Applicants must be registrable or registered with the appropriate professional/ scientific bodies as applicable.
• NYSC Discharge or Exemption certificate is a must.

Lecturer I (CONUASS 04)

• Applicants must possess at least Masters’ Degree certification in a relevant field from any reputable university, 3 years of teaching, research, as well as administrative experience as Lecturer-I I in the university.
• PhD certification is an added advantage.
• Applicants must possess evidence for a minimum of 5 scholarly publications in learned journals in University and apex research/training institutes OR 3 journal publications and participation in 4 professional projects.
• Applicants must be registrable or registered with the appropriate professional/ scientific bodies as applicable.
• NYSC Discharge or Exemption certificate is a must.

Senior Lecturer (CONUASS 05)

• Applicants must possess at least a Ph.D. certification in a relevant field from any reputable university, 2 years of teaching, research, as well as administrative experience as Lecturer-I in the university.
• Applicants must possess evidence for a minimum of 8 scholarly publications in learned journals in University and apex research/training institutes, as well as proof of at least 3 successful supervision of  Masters or Ph.D. Degree.
• In addition, applicants must be registrable or registered with the appropriate professional/ scientific bodies as applicable.
• NYSC Discharge or Exemption certificate is a must.
• Evidence of community service is an added advantage.

Reader (CONUASS 06)

• Applicants must possess at least a Ph.D. certification in a relevant field from any reputable university, 2 years of teaching, research, as well as administrative experience as Senior Lecturer in the university.
• Applicants must possess evidence for a minimum of 12 scholarly publications in learned journals in University and apex research/training institutes, as well as proof of at least 6 successful supervision of  Masters or Ph.D. Degree.
• Evidence of community service is required in addition applicants must be registrable or registered with the appropriate professional/ scientific bodies as applicable.
• NYSC Discharge or Exemption certificate is a must.

Professor (CONUASS 07)

• Applicants must possess at least a Ph.D. certification in a relevant field from any reputable university, years of teaching, research, as well as administrative experience as a Reader in the university.
• The applicant must have demonstrable competence to lender academic leadership in his/her academic field.
• Applicants are required to be specialists in the stated academic discipline with proof of a minimum of 15 publications in learned journals in University and apex research/training institutes, as well as proof of at least 10 successful supervision of Postgraduate dissertation and Thesis Masters or Ph.D. Degree.
• Evidence of community service is required in addition applicants must be registrable or registered with the appropriate professional/ scientific bodies as applicable.
• NYSC Discharge or Exemption certificate is a must.

Assistant Librarian (CONUASS 01)

• Applicant must possess a bachelors’ degree certification in Library Science or Library & Information Science with at least a second class upper division from a recognized university.
• The applicant must be a registered member of NLA and LRcN.
• NYSC Discharge/ Exemption certificate is required.

Librarian II (CONUASS 02)

• Applicant must possess a minimum of Masters’ degree certification in Library & Information Science from a recognized university.
• Possession of Ph.D. degree certification in Library & Information Science is an added advantage.
• Applicant must have at least 3 years cognate working experience as Assistant Librarian in the university.
• Applicant must present evidence of publications in learned journals in university as well as apex research/ training institutes or participation in a minimum of 2 professional/ research projects.
• NYSC Discharge/ Exemption certificate is required.
• The applicant must be a registered member of NLA and LRcN.

Librarian I (CONUASS 03)

• Applicant must possess a minimum of Masters’ degree certification in Library & Information Science from a recognized university.
• The applicant must have at least 3 years cognate working experience as  Librarian-II in the university.
• Applicant must present evidence of 5 publications in learned journals in university as well as apex research/ training institutes or participation in a minimum of 4 professional/ research projects.

Senior Librarian (CONUASS 04)

• The applicant must possess a minimum of P.h.D. degree certification in Library & Information Science from a recognized university.
• Applicant must have at least 2 years cognate working experience as Assistant Librarian-I in the university.
• NYSC Discharge/ Exemption certificate is required.
• Applicant must present evidence of at least 8 scholarly publications in learned journals in university as well as apex research/ training institutes.
• The applicant must be a registered member of NLA and LRcN.

Laboratory Technologist (CONTISS 07)

• Applicant must possess a bachelors’ degree or HND certification from a recognized university or polytechnic in any of the following fields:
  1. Biological Science (Botany)
  2. Chemistry
  3. Geology
  4. Physic
  5. Science Laboratory Technology
