Imo Youth Empowerment 2021 Application Form By Imo State Government (IMSG)
Imo Youth Empowerment application is currently open for suitably qualified candidates by the Imo State Government (IMSG), interested individuals are hereby invited to apply.
This program is an Imo State government empowerment initiative established to assist Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the State of which the activities were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Consequently, funds shall be disbursed to youths who have undergone various entrepreneurship training and skill acquisition conducted by the State Government through the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Skill Acquisition spearheaded by Hon. Noble Atulegwu.
Recall that shortly after the creation of the Ministry series of training were transparently carried out on various skills for the qualified youths. This culminated in the creation of the Imo Youth Empowerment Scheme by His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma under which, the Shared Prosperity administration earmarked sets of funds to train a total of 15,000 youths across the State.
The funds’ disbursement to the trained youths will start on the 26th day of June 2021 and this fund is a grant and not a loan.
