Job Description

Are you looking to make an immediate impact where you can help our clients solve their cloud business challenges while advancing your career?  Deloitte is offering an opportunity for you to be a crucial member of a dynamic team working on cloud design, migration, integration, adoption, and support.

Work you’ll do

Be a part of a multidisciplinary and diverse team in a client-facing role. Developing and implementing policies for cloud services, managing requests for new technology, establishing a secure cloud environment, and ensuring service availability.

Consulting – Junior Cloud Engineer Responsibilities

• Develop cloud architecture and solutions optimized for cloud platforms.
• Deliver solutions using a wide range of technologies and the full range of multicoloured-native services.
• Build and deploy applications at scale on Cloud platforms.
• Optimize cloud services platform.
• Monitor and maintain multiple GCP, Azure or AWS solutions to meet client requirements
• Set up a continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline on GCP or Azure.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code scripts IaC to automate the deployment of GCP or Azure architecture and solutions.
• Integrate with non-cloud technologies and third-party vendor products/services.
• Operate support processes that adhere to ITIL best practices.
• Communicate effectively through strong written and oral communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc., B.A., B.Eng./B.Tech., etc.) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Science, Technology, Engineering, or any related discipline with a minimum of Second Class Upper / Upper Credit division
• Have a minimum of five credits in WASSCE Ordinary Level/NECO subjects or acceptable equivalent examination, including Mathematics and English Language in one sitting only
• 2 + years of experience performing a similar role
• 2+ years of experience with any cloud platform: GCP, Azure or AWS.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Certifications (Desired): Google-Associate Cloud Engineer; AWS – Solutions Architect Associate; Azure-Administrator Associate
