Description
- We are seeking a highly motivated Senior manager to uncover new business opportunities across all sectors of the economy as well as manage relationships with external partners.
- The candidate will be expected to develop relationships and work closely with a team of cross-functional partners across business, technology, marketing and servicing.
- A successful candidate will be customer-obsessed and passionate about delivering impactful end-to-end experiences to our customers.
Head, Alliance Banking Responsibilities
- Create strategic alliances/partnerships to grow the banks’ market share in its chosen niche
- Develop partner networks and strategic partnerships both locally and internationally across financial services, technology, and other relevant industries
- Mentor and build a high-performing team by providing useful, timely feedback and learning opportunities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to structure and execute business initiatives, lead analysis and develop and communicate final recommendations for growing partner relationships
- Analyse and track key metrics to identify trends and highlight issues in customer needs that can be addressed through strategic partnerships
- Develop and maintain key contacts and ensure the organisation is abreast of key industry trends to make recommendations on new revenue opportunities.
- Negotiate and bring deals to completion with key stakeholders.
- Utilize method driven approaches and processes to drive results through partnerships.
- Ensuring compliance of all business policies to relevant local and international statutory and electronic payments industry regulations and standards
- Develop manpower and resource requirement plans for the Group.
Requirements
- Minimum of a second-class upper Bachelor’s Degree in any Business, Marketing or Finance related field is preferred. Masters and professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 15 years experience in strategic sales or business development with at least 5 years at the management level. Experience in Banking will be an added advantage.
- Sound knowledge of sales strategies and industry regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, and emerging technologies
- Effective communication skills.
- Strong Financial Analysis / Interpretation capabilities
- Advance marketing, sales, negotiation, consultative and product management skills
- Strong Financial Analysis / Interpretation capabilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills – verbal, written, presentation
- Understanding of Basic Banking Operations (Domestic & International Operations)
- Strong Leadership and supervisory skills
- Integrity and discretion.
