Job Description

  • The Director of the Research Centre is the Chief Research Officer of the University responsible to the vice chancellor for all aspects of the Research and Research Policy of the institution.
  • He advises the University on matters relating to research, execution and review of policies affecting the research activities and policy of the University,
  • The candidate for the position of Director of Research Centre must exercise a high degree of competence, responsiveness and integrity for the running of the Centre, Prospective candidates must be proficient in ICT and have a deep understanding of global research best practices.

Requirements

  • PhD with at least two (2) years post-qualification cognate experience buttressed with a suitable number of publications and ICT proficiency.
