NITDA Digital States Initiative Application 2021 For Lagos, Gombe, Kano, And Rivers
NITDA Digital States Initiative Application 2021 is currently for interested youths in Lagos, Gombe, Kano, and Rivers States; that wish to acquire digital skills in IT Management Of Productivity Tools, Entrepreneurial Skills (basics of career development), Basics of Content Creation and career development.
This skill acquisition program is free of charge, thanks to the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and Microsoft for funding the program. The aim is to facilitate Nigeria’s transition to Digital Economy by ensuring at least 540 Nigerian youths in each state of the federation, as well as the federal capital territory totaling around 20,000 youths are equipped with the basic digital literacy in the aforementioned areas.
NITDA Digital States Initiative’s first phase is set to kick off in four states namely Lagos state, Gombe state, Kano state, and Rivers state with registration commencement on the 8th of March 2021.
Beneficiaries will receive training in the following areas:
IT Management Of Productivity Tools
This class is ideal for those that are new to digital tools such as students and employees in the workforce, beneficiaries will be trained in the usage of Microsoft 365 tools and online communication which are required in creating documents, databases, charts, and graphs.
Digital Marketing For Entrepreneurial Skills
This class is ideal for business owners and entrepreneurs, beneficiaries will be trained in the skill to build their businesses to create and explore the market.
Basics Of Content Creation And Career Development
This class is ideal for students and job seekers who will learn skills in writing a CV, interview preparation, as well as how to find a dream job.
