Requirements

School of Nursing (SON)

• At least five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE WASCE/ NECO/ GCE O/L obtained at not more than two sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Must not be less than 16 years of age.
• Awaiting result is accepted.

School of Biomedical Engineering (FSBE) – ND

• At least five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE WASCE/ NECO/ GCE O/L obtained at not more than two sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Good JAMB result.
• Awaiting result is accepted.

Community Health Officer Training School (CHOTS)

• Must be a Diploma certification holder in Community Health or a Community Health Extension Worker.
• At least two years post-qualification experience.
• At least five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE WASCE/ NECO/ GCE O/L obtained at not more than two sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Must be a fully registered member of the Community Health Practitioners’ Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN) with a valid practice license.
• Awaiting result is accepted.

School of Anaesthetic Technician (SAT)

School of Post Basic Nursing (SPBN)

• At least five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE WASCE/ NECO/ GCE O/L obtained at not more than two sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) with at least two (2) years post qualification.
• References must be a Clergyman, DNS/Apex Nurse, or ADNS/DDNS.
• Awaiting result is accepted.

School of Medical and Psychiatry Social Work (MPSW)

• Should be a PGD/ Msc/ first-degree holder in relevant fields such as Social Sciences, Nursing, etc. in addition to relevant work experience.
• Awaiting result is accepted.

School of Health Information Management (SHIM)

Entry Requirements For ND Candidates

• At least five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE WASCE/ NECO/ NABTEB obtained at not more than two sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry, and/or Physics plus any of the following subject: Agric, Data Processing, Economics, Geography, Technical Drawing (result combination is accepted but must be from the same examination body, for example, SSCE/GCE or NECO/NECO).
• Must have JAMB result with current year cut-off mark approved for Monotechnics.

Entry Requirements For HND Candidates

• Should be a National Diploma certification holder in Health Information Management with at least lower credit.

OR

• A Professional Diploma/Technician certification holder in Health Information Management by HRORBN with at least lower credit.

OR

• Must present evidence of completion of compulsory one-year relevant clinical work experience (I.T) in a reputable Health Institution.

OR

• Those with Merit/Pass (G. P. A. 2.00-2.49) at the ND level with two (2) or more years post-ND cognate work experience is required.

School of Midwifery (SOM)

• At least five (5) Credit level passes in SSCE WASCE/ NECO/ GCE O/L obtained at not more than two sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN), with NMCN certification.
• At least 6 months post registration experience is required.
• Awaiting result is accepted.

How To Register On The Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH)

• Proceed to schools registration portal http://schools.luth.gov.ng/register-pay.
• Complete the online registration form with the requested details.
• Choose your desired school.
• Pay an access fee of five hundred (500) Naira.
• Complete your registration.
• Proceed to your submitted email and verify your registration with the link sent to your inbox.
• Log into your dashboard.
• Click on the ‘Buy Form’ link to be redirected to the Remita payment portal.
• Make a payment for an Application for using your ATM card.
• Upon successful payment, follow the ‘Fill Form’ link to fill the online application form.
• Submit your application.
• Go back to your registered email and download your acknowledgement slip which must be printed as it must be presented by the shortlisted candidates during the LUTH examination.

Important Notice

The application deadline is 31st August for schools aside School of Health Information Management, School of Medical/Psychiatry Social Work, and Federal School of Biomedical Engineering which shall be on 31st October.
